Profile:

Zoisite is the third of the Shitennou to appear in the series, making his debut in Episode 14. He does not take over until Episode 25, however, after having his Youma murder Nephrite. Zoisite's appointed job is to find the seven Nijizuishou (Rainbow Crystals), which form the Ginzuishou. After several battles, he eventually underhandedly gathers them all by tricking Tuxedo Mask into giving up his crystals. Much to his dismay and despite his schemes, the Ginzuishou wind up in the hands of its rightful owner, Sailor Moon. During this final face off in Episode 35, Zoisite goes against his master's orders and attempts to kill both Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. For this insubordination, he is killed by Queen Beryl.

Zoisite is extremely self-centered, vain and petty, and has a tendancy to not follow orders and do whatever he wants. He disrespects Nephrite and often teases him, mocking his abilities. Zoisite is, however, very close to Kunzite, and the two are implied to be lovers. They are the only two Shitennou who work cooperatively with one another. Zoisite loves the fourth Shitennou, admiring and respecting him. When Zoisite is killed by Queen Beryl in Episode 35, Kunzite grants him the wish of having a beautiful death.

Zoisite is not shown to use any special abilities to an excessive degree. He uses a re-calibrated Kurozuishou to locate the Great Seven Youma and can attack with energy blasts, such as his "zoi" attack. He also has the ability to create and manipulate fire, and whenever he appears, he is surrounded by a flurry of light pink petals.

Disuises/Alter Egos:

The only time Zoisite uses a disguise is in episode 33, when he disguises himself as Sailor Moon and runs around the city creating situations in which it appears that "she" came to the rescue. He does this to confuse the Sailor Soldiers and sets up a trap with Kunzite to capture the girls and kill them.
