Character Information: Kunzite (Anime)
Kunzite is the fourth member of the Shitennou and is the last to appear. He is the group's most powerful member and makes his debut in episode 22. He is the implied lover of Zoisite as well as a mentor figure for him as well. The two share the mission of locating the Nijizuishou to claim the Ginzuishou for the Dark Kingdom. Through his strength and Zoisite's scheming, the two are able to get their hands on all seven, but they are unable to keep the Ginzuishou for themselves after Princess Serenity awakens. After a heated showdown with Sailor Moon in episode 33, Zoisite goes against Queen Beryl's orders and is killed, leaving Kunzite devastated.
In the beginning, Kunzite seems to be one of the most devoted of the Shitennou, but after Zoisite is killed by Queen Beryl and she abducts Endymion, he becomes a bit suspicious and perhaps even jealous of Beryl's wandering interests. His new mission is to try to steal the Ginzuishou from Sailor Moon while working alongside Dark Prince Endymion, to which Kunzite does not respond well at all. Kunzite repeatedly tries to exact revenge for Zoisite's death, but he is defeated by Sailor Moon and the power of the Ginzuishou in episode 44, near D Point.
Kunzite, as the most powerful of the Shitennou has the most valuable and versatile special abilities: a boomerang-like energy attack, absorbing the attacks of the Sailor Soldiers, creating barriers of energy, and he is able to distort time to a certain degree.
Kunzite does adopt any disguises or alter egos as he has very little contact with civilian humans.
