Character Information: Jadeite (Anime)
Jadeite is the first of the Shitennou (Four Kings) of the Dark Kingdom to appear in the series. His goal is to obtain energy from the humans of Earth for the Dark Kingdom. Jadeite possesses a few special abilities. He can use telekenesis, shoot energy blasts at opponants, and he is able to create a barrier of energy to protect himself.
Jadeite appears in various identities during his short time on earth, unlike the other three Shitennou, who either don't have alter egos or only have one. Jadeite is very attractive and uses this to his advantage when obtaining energy for the Dark Kingdom. His methods for gathering energy involve tricking people into buying goods or using services that actually steal their energy, or he takes energy from large groups of people. He is very hands-on, and is almost always physically present in part of his plots to steal energy from humans. This could be due to his egotistical nature, and not believing anyone can do the job right but himself.
Jadeite is very devoted to Queen Beryl and the Dark Kingdom's mission. He eventually figures out the identities of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars in episode 13 after he challenges them to a fight and witnesses them transfrom. This proves to be fruitless when Queen Beryl seals him in a crystal for eternity because of his repeated failures, never giving him the chance to tell his master of the Sailor Soldiers' true identities.
Jadeite was also present during the epic battle between Queen Beryl and Queen Serenity for the Silver Millennium. He is shown standing with his fellow generals, wielding a sword. He undoubtedly played a large role in the destruction of Queen Serenity's kingdom.
Jadeite is a master of disguise. His alter egos include: J-Dite (episode 3, a radio announcer), a personal trainer at Este-Salon Shapely (episode 4), MC for Cinderella Caravan contest (episode 7), shrine attendant (episode 10), security guard at Dream Land (episode 11), and a ship's captain (episode 12).

Jadeite commanded many youma: Morga (episode 1), Balm (episode 2), Flow (episode 3), Iguala (episode 5), Cyrene (episode 6), Derella (episode 7), Garoben (episode 8), Ramua (episode 9), Kigan (episode 10), and Murido (episode 11). In addition to these monsters, Jadeite also manipulates humans to work for the Dark Kingdom, such as three personal trainers in episode 4 and airport security guards in episode 13.
